When your dog doesn’t like their stroller

Pablo is a young French Bulldog whose little legs get tired quickly. His human, Maddy, got him a stroller which he didn’t much like. Because Maddy wanted a stroller that was easier to maneuver, she decided to buy Pablo the InnoPet Sporty Dog Trailer. A great gamble, as she didn’t know if her Frenchie would like the new dog stroller!

When your dog doesn’t like their stroller

When Pablo gets tired from walking, he sits down and won’t move. Dogmom, Maddy, has noticed he has trouble with his back legs, but they do not yet have an official diagnosis at this time. They could not go very far from the house, which made Pablo sad. That is why Maddy got a pet stroller from Amazon.

Pablo doesn’t like his dog stroller

The first stroller has four small wheels and described by Maddy as ‘rickety’. For some reason, Pablo never really took to it. The Frenchie is quite nervous around other dogs. Sitting high up in a stroller, you’d expect him to be more at ease as he is higher up than other dogs. But no. Nevertheless, Maddy went on the lookout for a sturdier stroller.

He didn’t like his last stroller at all”

A great gamble

After much research, she found the most popular dog stroller with air tyres she liked. The InnoPet Sporty Dog Trailer Deluxe. But was Pablo going to like his new pram? As this was quite the investment, Maddy took a gamble and ordered the InnoPet dog stroller.
After luring her dog in with a treat, they went to test the pram on a flat surface.

Happy noises

The first day out, Pablo came home making happy noises! They had stayed out for several hours. When Pablo sees other dogs, he can get quite nervous. But in his new stroller, he felt more relaxed for some reason. The Sporty Dog Trailer Deluxe is considerably lower to the ground than the previous stroller was, but Pablo does not seem to mind.

Walks and rest

When they’re out on a walk and Pablo feels tired, he will just jump into his stroller and Maddy can continue their outing. They briefly went to the beach already, to walk over the wet sand, with the dog stroller. At cafes, Pablo joins the humans by sitting in his stroller with the back zipped open. We’re glad Pablo likes his new stroller so much. We wish both Pablo and Maddy many happy walks with their InnoPet dog stroller!

“If you are still deciding on whether to spend the money on this pram…do it now !!! I’ve used a couple of dog prams previously for my 12kg French bulldog and this one is by far the easiest one to push and is very well made. It’s extremely high quality and feels very sturdy! I like to use it on longer walks for when my dog gets tired and there is much space inside – it would be suitable for a larger dog also!

My frenchie used to be very unsettled in his other pram but in this one he settles down and watches the world go by. He actually jumps in by himself! It’s given me so much freedom on walks and it folds down super easy to go in the boot of the car! The pram is very easily to manoeuvre and the breaks are easy to use.

The material is very durable and tires are fantastic! They clip on and off very easily so can be folded down easily! I opted for the air filled tires and the pram stays very stable on very bumpy paths (I regularly take my dog over grass and down countryside paths and the pram has no issues).

I recommend this pram to anyone who has a dog that requires the use of a pram! I’m serious, if you are thinking about go for it as I have 0 regrets buying this! Is perfect for what I need it for ! :)”
