Wheel care
- Check the wheels of your stroller after outdoor use.
- Dry them off if necessary.
- Remove any sand or dirt from wheels and axle.
- Apply a thin layer of Vaseline on axle or wheel base to prevent creaking or squeaking noises.
- Avoid using WD-40 or spray lubricants.
Fabric cover care
- Clean dirty patches of the fabric with a damp cloth and some mild soap.
- If you want to clean the entire fabric, take it off the stroller and hand wash in lukewarm water with mild soap.
- After using in wet conditions or cleaning, avoid drying it in direct sunlight or near heating sources.
- Never store the stroller folded when it is wet.
Zipper care
- Never store the stroller with tension on the zippers.
- If there is a lot of tension on the zippers when the stroller is in use, try loosening some of the velcro elements of the fabric cover.
- Make sure your pet never gnaws at the zippers as this may damage them.
- Grease the zipper with cold candle wax or some vaseline when the teeth of the zipper feel stiff.
- Do not attach anything to the runner of the zipper, as additional weight may damage the runner and zipper.
Frame care
- Do not use the stroller when you find nuts or screws are loosening.
- Store in a dry place to prevent rust.
- Prevent scratches on the metal frame as this may cause the frame to rust.
- Do not pass the max. weight capacity. This includes your pet, plus any items you may store in the stroller or have hanging from the push bar.
- When pushing the stroller up a kerb (curb), threshold or elevation: make sure you do so gently by lifting the front wheel(s) from the ground. If your stroller is close to the max. weight capacity, make sure not to put too much pressure on the push bar as this puts too much stress on the frame.
Rain cover care
- Place a rain cover over the stroller when using outside in wet conditions.
- Let rain cover dry completely before folding and storing.
Storage
- Store in a Dry Place: To prevent rust formation and extend the life of your buggy, store it in a dry and sheltered area. This will help protect the metal components from moisture and the elements.
- Do not place any items on top of the stroller when in storage. This may cause damage to the fabric and frame.
- Long Periods of Non-Use: If you plan to not use the buggy for an extended period, consider disassembling the wheels. This prevents unnecessary stress on the tires and axles.
- Avoid Prolonged Folding: Leaving the buggy folded for extended periods is not recommended as it can cause creases in the fabric. Periodically unfold it to prevent fabric folds and potential discoloration due to light exposure.
