The memory foam flakes in the pillow give your dog extra support for the muscles and joints. The loose, high-quality memory foam reduces pressure points, promotes healthy blood circulation and increases mobility. The cushions are generously filled, you can easily remove foam from the cushion yourself if it feels too firm for your dog.
Previously, this cushion was sold as the “Orthopaedic Cushion for Cozy and Comfort.” However, based on customer feedback, we found that these cushions are a few centimetres too narrow for the Cozy and Comfort models. As a result, small dogs may slip between the cushion and the side of the cabin. For this reason, we have retested the cushions in InnoPet buggies. The cabins of the smaller buggies are a better fit for this cushion size.

Why is the Orthopedic Mattress filled with foam flakes and not a solid foam cushion?
The reason we have chosen for loose pieces of foam, is because we believe this creates less pressure points for your dog. Instead of tension building up in a large piece of foam and having to divide it over the hole body. The memory foam flakes moulds itself completely to your dog’s posture and retains its shape for a long time.
